Aram Gugarats, the Deputy head of the Cadastre  Committee of the RA, Vincent Verheij, an expert of the Cadastre, land registration and mapping agency of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and adviser Rohan Bennett were on a working visit to the National Archives of Armenia.

Grigor Arshakyan, director of the National Archives of Armenia, briefly presented the functions of the Archive, mentioning the innovations of document digitization and electronic delivery as a priority.

On the spot, the guests got acquainted with rare documents of exceptional historical value stored in the National Archives of Armenia and expressed their willingness to support the digitization process of Armenia’s archival heritage. An agreement on the organization of exchange of experience of archival specialists of the two countries was reached as well.
