Today, on April 25, a working meeting was held with Grigor Arshakyan, Director of “National Archives of Armenia” SNCO, and Srbuhi Galyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA, and Siro Amirkhanyan, Head of the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office.

Issues of archiving documents of liquidated organizations, regulation of registrations in the state register, and introduction of more effective mechanisms in that process were discussed.

Reference was made to the inquiries received from the General Prosecutor’s Office in criminal and civil cases. It was decided to develop new, more effective methods of providing answers by the archive, shorten their terms, and other issues.

At the end of the meeting, a tour was conducted in the National Archives of Armenia, the 571 funds of the RA Prosecutor’s Office, rare archival documents of historical and cultural value, and samples of family trees that became the visiting card of the National Archives of Armenia were presented. The guests also got acquainted with the process of digitization of archival documents.
