With deep sadness, I learned about the untimely death of Aram Hrachik Simonyan, a historian, public speaker, and honored science figure of the Republic of Armenia, former rector of Yerevan State University.

Simonyan’s work in the scientific and educational sphere is significant. His contribution as a member of the Scientific Council of the National Archives of Armenia and a member of the board of the “Bulletin of Armenian Archives” magazine, is invaluable.
